Thank you for visiting my blog! My name is Rhonda Krick. I am a Registered Dietitian with a Master’s degree in Psychology. I work with individuals to become mindful towards their own eating habits and to support them through a change process in order to improve their health and well-being. I believe that what you choose to eat and how you choose to eat each and every day has a great impact on your mind and body.
People always ask me, “What do you do to be so healthy?” The truth is I practice what I preach! I’m not saying that what I do is perfect, but, it’s perfect for me! I eat what I know makes me feel the best and what I know my body needs. Some days its veggies, other days it may be chocolate! But, the thing that helps me the most is that I listen to my body at all times and try to pay attention to what it needs moment by moment.
Another thing that works for me is exercise. I am a seven time marathon runner and run most days of the week even when I’m not training. I also practice yoga. These two things not only energize me, but, also make me realize how important nourishing your body properly is. When I eat poorly one day, I often feel more lethargic when running and have less focus in yoga.
